Editing Begins on University of San Francisco Manuscript

Bookhouse recently began editing a 70,000-word manuscript for the University of San Francisco. Entitled A College on the Hill, this is actually a book about the history of Lone Mountain College, a women’s college that was absorbed by the University of San Francisco in 1978. Today, Lone Mountain is co-educational and still maintains its beautiful distinct campus, now known as the University of San Francisco Lone Mountain Campus. Today, the school is fully integrated into the 10,000-student university. The book is dedicated to the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the hundreds of students and thousands of students who have passed through its halls. A College on the Hill is scheduled for publication in 2018.
