Within minutes after James Danella purchased this Pennsylvania construction company, the employees stood and walked out. His father, who had fronted the money, turned to him and said, “You’ve got six months to make this work, then get me out of it.” Danella leaned against the door frame and thought, “What am I going to do now?” What he did was make it into one of the premier engineering and construction companies in America, one of the first on the scene to begin rebuilding New York City’s infrastructure within days of the fall of the Twin Towers.
