We are proud to announce that Lisa Means, a longtime freelance photographer for Bookhouse Group and discipline lead–professor of photography of the Workforce Program for Collin College in McKinney, Texas, has been honored for her dedication to her students.
She was surprised in her classroom this spring by a visit from the college’s president, Dr. Neil Matkin, who presented her with his President’s Award.
An example of her efforts to prepare her students for a successful career in photography occurred this summer, when she accompanied her students to Atlanta for the 2023 National Leadership & Skills Conference, where one of her students, Lisa Dorman, won a gold medal in the Photography SkillsUSA competition.
