Bookhouse Group, and its Riverbend Books imprint, recently rejoined the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). ACCE is the national organization that uniquely serves individuals who manage chambers of commerce. Chambers often use city picture books as a powerful economic development resource to showcase their communities. Companies interested in relocating or expanding business operations want to know what it’s like to live, work, play and raise a family there. We use all new custom-shot photography to tell a community’s story, often shooting more than 30,000 images. Our city books are also a source of significant non-dues revenue, both from sales of the book and from local companies who participate as sponsors. From coast-to-coast, Bookhouse/Riverbend has published more than 50 city books and has garnered a reputation as the premier publisher in this publishing genre.
Bookhouse/Riverbend has been recognized by ACCE for excellence in publishing and has twice been awarded “Best in Show” for its compelling visual portrayals of America’s cities and regions. Bookhouse/Riverbend will be exhibiting at ACCE’s annual convention in Nashville.
