Bookhouse has finished editing a 70,000-word manuscript for the University of San Francisco. Entitled A College on the Hill, this is actually a commemorative book about the history of Lone Mountain College, a women’s college that was absorbed by the University of San Francisco in 1978. Today, Lone Mountain is co-educational and still maintains its beautiful distinct campus, now known as the University of San Francisco Lone Mountain Campus. Today, the school is fully integrated into the 10,000-student university. The book is dedicated to the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the thousands of students who have passed through its halls. A College on the Hill is scheduled for publication in 2018.
