After extensive research and writing, Bookhouse Group is now in the client-review stage of the manuscript for American Waterways Organization’s (AWO) 75-year history. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, this vital organization spearheads safety, legislative, and training issues for the barge, tugboat and towboat industry in the United States. AWO members operate on the rivers, coasts, Great Lakes, and harbors of the United States. These boat and ships move vital commodities safely, reducing air emissions, water pollution, and highway congestion. The also protect homeland security, and provide family-wage jobs for tens of thousands of Americans. Publication is scheduled for Fall, 2019.
