The manuscript for the history of one of America’s largest family owned tree farms is nearing completion. This manuscript is unusually large for us—about 60,000 words—but the family wanted a complete and detailed story. Based in Seattle, Port Blakely Companies owns almost 300,000 acres of trees in Washington, Oregon, and New Zealand. Once we’re done editing the manuscript, the book will enter the design phase, and then printing. It is due for publication in June 2011.
