Riverbend Books, an imprint of Bookhouse Group, has started a months-long endeavor to shoot new photography for its Roanoke, VA, picture book. Using a team of prominent photojournalists, Riverbed will fan out over the Roanoke Region and nearby Blue Ridge Mountains, shooting thousands of images that illustrate how the region lives, works and plays. Riverbend is one of the country’s premier publishers of photojournalism-style commemorative books. This highly anticipated book is scheduled for publication in late spring 2014.
